Reflective Statement

While I was in a quite confident position when it comes to Maya and 3D digital art production, traditional drawing skills is the skill that I lacked the most and one of the desired skills that I wanted to make improvements. Throughout the sessions, I had a lot of opportunities to draw live models within a limited amount of time which is an experience that I have never had before. When I look at the outcomes, they still lack a lot of details and quality in terms of shading, however, improvements are notable when the drawings in the last year compared to the recent one. What this series of drawing practices benefited me the most is that I can understand the shapes better by observing what is drawn and this principle applies the same when it comes to 3D art production since the computer does rendering jobs yet I still have to capture the base shape of the subject when I am modeling.
